From the ground, teach your horse to:

• Move out of your space in a relaxed way;
• Never pull on you;
• Stand quietly when asked;
• Move forward and step over, through or past any obstacle on cue.

From the saddle, teach your horse to:

• Respond to you no matter what the distraction;
• Learn how to use 5 specific muscle groups in the horse’s head and neck to change his stiffness to relaxation;
• Calmly handle scary situations;
• Recognize when your horse is pulling on the bit – and when you are pulling on him.

Progressive Workshops
Focusing on building your horse handling and training skills, Progressive Workshops are designed to teach you to train your horse. You will have a scheduled lesson time, with either Lauriel or Jean, where you will work on a specific goal. You can spend the rest of the day watching the other scheduled lesson, increasing your knowledge as you watch. Workshops are great for the novice to experienced rider who wants to further understand how to work better with their horse.
